Perkz Leaves G2 Esports After a 5-Years Tenure

G2 Esports have parted ways with Luka "PerkZ" Perković. It is expected that the player will continue his career in North America.

Perkz is a 22-years-old Croatian player who has been part of G2 Esports since 2015. With them he played at five World Championships, placing 3rd – 4th in 2018 and 2020 and 2nd in 2019. During his time with the team, he emerged victorious at nine LEC events.

Previously a midlaner, this May Perkz switched to the AD Carry role, making space for Rasmus "Caps" Borregaard Winther. Rumours say that he was not satisfied with his new role and was planning to leave the team even during the Worlds.
