Heroic Defeat Vitality in DreamHack Open Fall 2020 Grand Finals

Heroic have become the champions of DreamHack Open Fall 2020 after defeating Team Vitality (3-2) in the event’s grand finals. Besides securing $33,000 in prize money and 2500 RMR-points, the team also qualified for IEM XV – Global Challenge.

Heroic started competing in Group B, where they placed 3rd with the 1-2 score, advancing to the lower bracket. On their way to the grand finals through the lower bracket, Heroic managed to win North (2-0), Sprout (2-1), BIG (2-1), Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1) and Astralis (2-1). In the grand finals Team Vitality emerged victorious at Overpass (19:17) and Vertigo (16:10), while Heroic gained an upper hand at Nuke (22:20), Inferno (16:11) and Mirage (16:7).

DreamHack Open Fall 2020 was the final RMR-event of this year for Europe. As of now, the following teams are the leaders of the rating:

• Legend Status: Vitality, Heroic, Ninjas in Pyjamas
• Challenger Status: BIG, Fnatic, G2, OG, Astralis, GODSENT, FaZe, North
